Student Life
Tenerife is a major center for athletes across Europe seeking the optimal weather conditions for training for swimming, cycling, and jogging, among others. The island is an ideal place for lovers of mountain sports: climbing, running, hiking. There are schools that offer courses for all levels and guided tours to discover the most attractive corners of Tenerife’s rocks outcrops.
Madrid also is home to 3 of the finest art galleries in the world and some outstandingly green parks. Beyond the museums the Madrid scene and feel-good living can be seen in the many stunning plazas which provide a front-row seat for the fine cityscape and endlessly energetic street life.

The city that knows how to live: Spain’s capital city is very alive and has indeed a very friendly neighbourhood feel. The daytime sparks plenty to do and see including a remarkable museum collection together with large inspiring gardens and green parks. Spain’s largest city provides an awesome frenzy nightlife scene with parties starting late in the night and exceptional music scene, great tapas and fine dining restaurants.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife, is the capital (jointly with Las Palmas) of the Canary Islands.

In 2012, the British newspaper “The Guardian” included Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the list of the five best places in the world to live. It shares that distinction with the north coast of Maui, Hawaii; Sankt Pauli district in Hamburg; Cihangir district in Istanbul, and Portland, Oregon in the state (United States).

The city is a melting pot of diverse cultures that give it a cosmopolitan character. The largest international communities have immigrated from Latin America, Africa and Western Europe.

The city also has one of the world’s largest carnivals. The Carnival of Santa Cruz de Tenerife now aspires to become a World Heritage Site, and is the biggest in Spain and rivals anything found in Brazil.

The town of El Médano is located in the southeast coast of the island of Tenerife, known for the trade winds that blow year-round, reshaping sand dunes and coastal relieving summer nights . This quaint village with its promenade, natural beaches and charming landscape is a famous international hotspot for windsurfing and kitesurfing.

El Médano attracts lots of international tourism, not only for those who need a relaxing holiday on the beach, but also for many young people who appreciate an active lifestyle as the beautiful year-round weather is ideal for both water and land sports. El Médano’s beautiful promenade invites you to walk to it’s southern edge, where a volcanic cone, the Red Mountain, produces an otherworldly landscape with its reddish colour.

The town is animated by a multitude of bars, restaurants and shops where you can enjoy oceanfront refreshments and immerse yourself in a fun and youthful vibe.

San Cristóbal de La Laguna (commonly known as La Laguna) is a city in the northern part of the island of Tenerife, in the Canary Islands, (Spain).  La Laguna’s historical centre was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999.

The downtown streets are full of monuments and historic buildings, museums and theatres; its streets, its colours, and its environment share elements with colonial South American cities. It also offers a commercial area, where you can buy souvenirs, fashion, Tenerife wines, Canarian craftwork and typical culinary products. It is a city with great university life, so it also offers great nightlife in a fun atmosphere in its countless pubs.

Are you thinking of accelerating your study of Spanish by spending a couple weeks or much of a year in a foreign country? Do you know What is immersion language study?

It is learning a foreign language by living it. In the Safari Spanish School, the student doesn’t study only in the formal sense — he or she lives the language.

The main goal of this program, which meet in small classes, is to help students, from day one, to increase confidence in their ability to use their new language in a wide range of real-life situations and improve their oral skills as they progress from level to level.

Upon completion of an intensive or an immersion program, students can expect to feel comfortable speaking in a variety of situations and to have gained a solid understanding of the grammatical, structural and cultural aspects of the language.
